Over 40 of the biggest names from the contemporary art world are donating and (in some cases) creating brand new pieces for an exclusive auction at Christie’s this October in aid of WellChild.  A selection of the work to be auctioned will be on display for the general public to see this weekend at Christie’s Education on the 5th and 6th October (10:30AM – 5PM). Select artists include Antony Gormley, Rose Wylie, Ian Davenport, Rankin, Harland Miller, Polly Morgan, David Shrigley, Tracey Emin and Marc Quinn.

Dave White has created and donated a new piece 'Flamingo I' especially for WellChild and the forthcoming auction. It will be available to view as part of this exhibition. 'Flamingo I' Oil on linen, 155cm x 115cm by Dave White 2019 ©

Further details on the auction 28 October at Christie's will be announced shortly.

For press: The @WellChild Art Auction at @christiesinc on 28 October will raise vital funds for seriously ill children. Coinciding with Frieze London, the Preview on 5-6 Oct (10:30-17:00) at @christiesedu will offer an exclusive look at the pieces to be auctioned. @davewhitestudio is featured in the exhibition and has donated a unique oil painting created for the charity event.
