Dave White joins The Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club in Bermuda as Artist in Residence this summer, marking a significant new chapter in his ongoing exploration of the natural world.
Beyond its iconic pink façade and sweeping harbour views, The Hamilton Princess is home to one of the most distinguished contemporary art collections in a hotel setting. Featuring works by masters such as Picasso and Matisse alongside leading contemporary voices including Warhol, KAWS, and Banksy, the collection offers a rich and inspiring cultural backdrop.
Within this context, White’s residency is centred on an in-depth study of Bermuda’s native and endangered wildlife. Drawing from direct observation and immersion in the island’s unique ecosystem, he will develop a new body of work that reflects both the beauty and fragility of the natural world—continuing his commitment to translating environmental awareness into powerful visual form.
