A seminal collection by Dave White of new oils, watercolours and exclusive Limited Editions inspired by a residency in Bermuda. Oceanic is the culmination of nine months work, launching in Brighton and Oxford this month.
'The collection explores many species that I have never depicted before and has challenged me to rethink my processes and intentions. The sheer power and presence of some are juxtaposed by the calm and translucency of others. Forcing me to explore new processes and applications in order to depict the subjects, their character and unique presence. Working in both oils and watercolours I have enjoyed the challenge of bringing life to these beautiful creatures with a balance of vulnerability, power and grace dependant on the subject.'
